How to download Twitter (X) videos

In the X app, tap Share under the post, then Copy link. On a computer, use Share → Copy link, or copy the post’s address from the address bar: it contains /status/ followed by a number.

Where the video is saved
On iPhone, Safari saves it to the Downloads folder of the Files app; this guide shows how to move it to Photos. On Android, it goes to the Downloads folder (where to find it). On a computer, it goes to your Downloads folder.
If nothing happens when you save inside an app’s built-in browser, open the page in Safari or Chrome and try again.
What cannot be downloaded
Nabfox never signs in to X, so it sees only posts that anyone can open. These are not supported:
- Posts from protected accounts
- Posts marked as sensitive or age-restricted
- Live broadcasts and Spaces
- Deleted posts and suspended accounts

Am I allowed to download videos from X?
Save videos for your own viewing, or videos you made or have permission to use. Reposting someone else’s video can infringe their copyright and break X’s rules.
