How to download Facebook videos and Reels

Which Facebook links work?
Links to a single video or Reel: facebook.com/watch/?v=…, facebook.com/reel/…, a page’s /videos/… address, and the share links the app copies (facebook.com/share/v/… or /share/r/…). Facebook’s mobile and language addresses, such as m.facebook.com, work too.
fb.watch short links do not work: Facebook opens them only for people who are logged in, and Nabfox never logs in. Open the video in Facebook and copy its link with Share → Copy link instead.
How to download Facebook videos on iPhone
Open the downloader in Safari. Inside the Facebook app’s own browser a download often does not start; if nothing happens, open the page in Safari.

How to download Facebook videos on Android

How to download Facebook videos on a computer
On Windows, Mac or Linux, paste the link in any browser; the MP4 goes to your Downloads folder. If an older player or editing app shows no picture, save the “Most compatible” file instead, or read why a downloaded video won’t play.
What cannot be downloaded
Nabfox sees Facebook the way anyone who is not logged in sees it, so these are not supported:

Is it free to download Facebook videos with Nabfox?

Can I download a private Facebook video?
No. Nabfox never logs in to Facebook, so it can only save what anyone can watch without an account. If a video asks you to log in when you open it in a private browser window, it cannot be downloaded.
Why is my Facebook video saved without sound?
Some videos have no sound, and Facebook mutes some videos because of the music in them. Nabfox saves what Facebook gives our server: if there is no sound, the video is offered without it and no MP3 is offered.
Can I save a Facebook video as MP3?
Yes. Choose MP3 for a file that plays anywhere, or “Original audio” to keep the sound exactly as Facebook stores it, as M4A.
Am I allowed to download Facebook videos?
Save videos for your own viewing, or videos you made or have permission to use. Reposting someone else’s video can infringe their copyright and break Facebook’s rules.
